The house is in the town of Comares, which is one of the highest towns in Andalucia and the views are spectacular. The town is very pretty with the quaint streets and Spanish white houses. The road winds up to the village and when you reach the village, the main square is about the first place you come to, it has a monument and a spectacular newly built view point with seating, from where you can admire the extensive views reaching to the sea.
La Casa de Tony y Maggie is not far up the narrow pedestrian only street from the main square, where parking is available. It has been modernised to give you modern facilities but still has lots of original features and also remains very Spanish. The odd door frames is a little low, but it is all part of the character of the house. This house gives you lots of areas to sit and relax or to eat depending on your mood, it is also suitable for all year round use, as it has heaters for the winter and a small air conditioning unit for the summer.

Accommodation
The front door opens into a large room used as a dining room with a nice large polished table, chairs and wall unit, it also has a sofa to relax on. Through into the next room where you will find another sitting room to relax and then through into the kitchen. The fitted kitchen has plenty of space for cooking and preparing food with a new large oven and hob as well as being well equipped with pots, pans, cooking utensils, crockery, and cutlery, it also has a sandwich maker, kettle and toaster. The kitchen is quite large and also has a table and chairs giving you another choice of where to eat. Through into the next little room where you can find the fridge/freezer.
As with most andalucian houses they hold a lot of surprises, with rooms appearing where you don't expect them to be. This house has a nice sitting room which could be classed as a cave room, it has no windows but the advantage becomes apparent in hot weather, when it remains very cool; I would expect, that many an hour has been spent in here away from the heat of the day. By this room is a washing machine and small outside area.
Upstairs is a bathroom (with shower over the bath) all newly installed and tiled. All of the bedrooms are also on this level. First of the three double size bedrooms with a double bed and places to put your clothes, also leads through to the twin room behind, although the twin room is a good size room, it is only accessible via the first bedroom. The third bedroom is very large and has a double bed with wardrobe, easy chairs and a small balcony.
The stairs lead up from this room to a very nice large terrace with table, chairs and a barbecue, where you can sit and enjoy your evening meal and bottle of wine while watching the views, which are long ranging views starting with the town in the forefront, the countryside beyond and onto a good view of the sea where it is possible to watch the ships going past. The stars are also fascinating from here too.
